Last month, we were proud to sponsor and participate in the annual Swing for Sight golf tournament in support of Industries of the Blind (IOB). Hosted in partnership with the Greensboro Lions Club, the tournament supports IOB’s mission of providing meaningful services and employment for people who are blind or visually impaired.
We had a chance to speak with Joshua Gould, Industries of the Blind President and CEO, on their mission and this year’s tournament:

Swing for Sight Tournament Highlights
The 2025 Swing for Sight Tournament took place at the Greensboro Country Club and welcomed 116 golfers, the largest turnout the event has seen so far. The event included a captain’s choice tournament format along with additional competitions for putting, longest drive, closest to the pin, and hole-in-one.
In addition to the tournament entry, the event also raised funds with support from a growing list of contributors, including the Practical team and our partners at Sage. According to Joshua, the tournament’s continued growth in both attendance and fundraising is awesome to see, and he hopes this momentum continues in years to come.
Planning is underway for next year’s event, stay tuned at IOB’s tournament page for future details.
